Young Gunners 3 PDF Print E-mail

young ones.jpgYoung Gunners is my EPL fantasy log. Each week it will contain an interview with Stewart Herron, the longtime Leeds United defender who's just taken his Islington side into the Premiership with solid backing from his front office team, Nazir Hamed and American billionaire Tex Huffington.

Sir Stanton Hobbes Miller, BBC Sport: Well Stuart, another result for Islington but it was a bit more work than the manager would have liked I warrant...

Stewart Herron: I'm not well pleased, Mr. Miller. Not well pleased at all.

SHM: You seemed to have trouble in the last third again.

SH: I'll tell you what I saw. I saw a few players who was willing to leave everything they had out on the pitch, and some others deemed themselves worthy of pay before ever they had their boots on. It disgusts me is what it does.

SHM: Certainly you'll be happy with Drogba and Fabregas ...

SH: Yeah, I am. Those lads are the ones we've paid for, and they've had magnificent performances. Essien, Arteta and Hleb as well. Poor pen from V. Persie. It's the lads in the back who've not done the necessary work.

EPL Fantasy Report Gameweek 4

Islington Young Gunners: Hahnemann 2, Melchiot 2, Mellberg 2, Ingimarson 1, Arteta 5, Hleb 6, Fabregas 11, Essien 6, Drogba 10 (C), Santa Cruz 6, V. Persie 0.

Gameweek 4: 51 points

Season Total: 164

Pundit says that after a modest scoring week the Big Four have a chance to mash it up with some weaker prey. Liverpool might score a pile at Derby so why not bet on Torres. Will Crouchigol have last licks before moving to Pompey ? Anelka is awake and ready to produce goals as he did last year. The question is how you make your back line keep scoring well with your front line?

Pundit says pick a team this week and bet on their romp. Match a back line player with a striker. Like Spurs Gardner/Berbatov and see if they can't whip on Fulham.
